Desirability:
It is practical and a technical marvel.

Overall:
It is chromatic. It generates one full scale of tones and senses a large range of frequencies. It automatically tells you what note is being played and it tells you how accurate it is. It is easy to tune a guitar. The personally wanted the chromatic version so you could make sure the guitar nut was positioned the right distance from the first fret. It also works fine to tune the guitar string length for guitars with that adjustment. It is useful.
